Helped secure an agreement to invest from an early stage Insurtech Venture Capital fund. The fund agreed to lead the seed round of financing but later dropped out.
Produced, agreed and managed the cap table, analysed term sheets presented by potential investors and pitched the organisation to accelerators, VC’s and other interested parties.

Worked closely with Finance, Technology and Editorial management in a pivotal role enabling 3 rounds of funding to be secured for a pioneering multimedia knowledge management network, one of the largest in the media industry (£25m) at the time. Enabled Reuters to sustain a leadership position in delivering timely, actionable video, pictures and text content to leading financial services and media institutions.
